Adventures in Baby Food – Butternut Squash

Mia enjoying her squash.

Ingredients:

3 C chopped butternut squash
1 C water

Directions:

Place the squash and water in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture boils. Once it boils, lower the heat to a simmer and cover. Let the squash cook for 15-20 minutes or until the squash is soft, and then cool. Once the squash is cooled, blend and place in baby food containers.

Good for you making Mia homemade baby food, nothing better for them, no additives. And all the money you will save on those store bought jars of food, you can get yourself something or something for Mia.
